About the Office
EG Legal is a boutique law office set-up in 2017, offering legal services to Maltese and International businesses and entrepreneurs. The ethos and mission of the office remains that to promote and provide ethical and holistic legal services as outsourced in-house counsel to its clients or act as key legal professional for complex projects.
About the Founder
Dr. Elizabeth Gaerty is a warranted lawyer in the Republic of Malta since 2012. She obtained a bachelor of laws(LL.B) from the University of Malta in 2008, and proceeded to obtain her Diploma as Notary Public in 2009, and Doctorate in Law (LL.D) in 2011 from the same university. During this time her the focus of her studies remained business and environmental Law after which she obtained further legal specialisation in Energy, environmental and Climate Change Law.
She has over eighteen years of industry and twelve years of professional experience. Before setting up her office, she has led the corporate services and legal teams within local audit firms. In the past eight years she has assisted numerous re-structurings, set-ups and transformations for local and international businesses, including having held the Accountable Manager position during an airline transition project.
